Added a little more silicone to the left side canopy trim to fill in some gaps that were remaining. The first round of adhesive yesterday seems to have worked really well - really holds that trim in place. At least now I won't worry that it's flapping in the breeze. Added silicone on the right side trim, but this was just to fill gaps. The right side was already well adhered at the forwards and aft ends. This whole silicone operation was because the canopy bows out along the center, so the forwards and aft ends of the side trim had to be bent in to stay close to the canopy surface. Also measured the distances from the datum for the cg calculation. I had taken the weights previously, but not the exact datum locations for this plane. Put the batteries into the ELT. Other than whatever "improvements" I make to it, this is the end of the "building" phase. The FAA inspection is scheduled for the 13th.
