Used some scraps to start remaking the F14 details needed to replace the right cockpit side panel. Had some .090, the few .125 parts can be made from angle stock trimmings, and made 2 1x1x.125 details from about 30" of scrap laying around. Placed order for replacement material (skin plus angle stock), plus the remaining stuff I did not have to complete the airframe (firewall, the .090 and .125 spar doublers, the fuel tank support straps, some spare nuts/bolts/washers). That order should set me up for the year, until I have to order a bunch of expensive stuff (welded parts, gear legs, fuel tank, canopy - that kind of stuff).
