Fabricate phenolic pieces for canopy latch. The slots in these lined up surprisingly well with the slots in the fuselage side panel angle. I did not go to any elaborate lengths to drill through the side panel angle slots - just measured and cut the slots by drilling a row of holes, then connecting the holes with a small cutoff wheel on the Dremel, then smoothing the slots by filing.
