Brief Description:  Hinge, drill and debur

Drilled and deburred hinge for seat and cowling attachments. The drilling went really quickly because I made a simple jig from a piece of board and 4 nails. Space the nails so the hinge tabs align with them, and line up the hole location on the board under the drill press, then clamp the board in place. Then, all holes turn out the same (except for the few odd ones which I individually measured, marked, and drilled by eye). Deburring this stuff is a real pain because it's soft and gummy. The drill kind of just pushes through the material leaving a LOT to debur on the back, and the debur squashes it down as much as it cuts it off. I hope when these get enlarged to 1/8 that because there is less material to remove, the debur will go a lot easier. It took a LONG time.
