Took about 1/2 hour to finish riveting the LH root fairing. Spent the rest of the time making up some gussets for the root ribs. Drilled the gussets to the ribs. Cut out the web between the lightening holes. Riveted the gussets in place. Made up a bracket for the wing wiring conduit and riveted that to the LH wing. Lined the edges of the root fairings with a strip grommet material that Byron gave me. Lined the access holes in the root ribs with this same stuff. It will be ideal for these access holes - no squeezing the hands past a metal edge to bolt the flap pushrod in. It may or may not last on the root fairings, but it's worth a try.
