Drilled and trimmed v-notches in the LH wing tip. Bent up the flanges. Fit to the wing. Drilled. Used the strap duplicator for the holes along the spar tip. Measured and drilled holes along the aft spar tip. Bent flange at upper spar. Trimmed this to clear spar. Upsized holes, deburred, riveted. On RH tip, bent flange at upper spar, trimmed it, upsized holes, deburred, riveted. Used AL rivets on both of these to facilitate removal for installation of position lights later. Riveted now to avoid the temptation of delaying the project further to add position lights (and put off the expense of the lights). Only riveted about 1/2 of the holes on both tips - enough to take the clecoes out, but need to buy more rivets to finish.
