Started by cleaning up some and hung the elevators on the wall. Also put nails on the wall for the flaps. Spent about 2.5 hours drilling the first flap to final hole size, diassembly, debur, reassembly. Spent about 0.5 hours riveting. Spent remaining 1.5 hours on 2nd flap. Got through all pilot size drilled and final size drilled on the top and bottom sides (hinge side still to do). Put the wing-side of the hinge in place and taped blocks to keep hinge at about 90 deg. This made the hinges come out so straight they just flop open and closed, and the pins go in and out easily by hand. We'll see if they stay that well aligned when riveted onto the wing. Passed 500 hours logged on the project.
