Brief Description:  Tank back in

Started with about 1/2 hour of finish the PTT connections. Then installed the firewall bulkhead fitting and the blank off plate for the right side fitting location no longer used. All that took longer than I thought it would. Then cleaned out debris (drilled out rivets, cable ties, bits of wire, heat shrink tubing, tools, etc.), and secured the PTT leads under the seat. Put the seat back in. Then put the tank back in. Stuck for a long time with about an inch to go. Finally took loose the forward strap entirely, but it was also stuck on the fuse block. After wiggling it past those obstacles, it slid into place (probably better part of an hour to do this). Got the behind-tank angles clecoed into place. Started messing with the tube from the fuel filter to the firewall. It's a hair too long, so rather than force it, I'll make it over. Started some panel reassembly tasks - put the transponder encoder back in place, added some cable ties to the wires ahead of it. Put the 12v socket for the GPS back in place, and untangled its 2 leads from the rest of the wiring. Secured the leads that pass through the spar box to the pitot & static hoses and tied these to the forward spar box angle. Doesn't sound like a lot, but the PTT leads were now solder connected on the wrong side of the rudder cable, so I had to pull the cotter pin on that, take the cable loose, put the wires on the correct (outboard) side and put the cable back together including a new cotter pin.
