Brief Description:  Inspection

After all that, it's officially an airplane. Inspector looked through the inspection holes, asked some questions about why things are the way they are. In particular I don't think he liked the trim tab cable attachment at the trim tab. He asked if that was how the plans show it, which it was. He pulled on some wires around the engine, commented that the Jabiru really looks nice. He asked about the canopy secondary latch - so don't forget to drill that pin hole! Other things people have said that he didn't worry about - fuel shutoff. Not a word. That my name exactly matched between the registration, data plate, and airworthiness cert application (it did, but he didn't make a point of it). We talked about some other inspections he has done, then a little about how to start flight testing. He got the idea that I have the experience to not go buzzing the neighborhood, and that was that.
