Put the ball on the bottom of the panel. May be too low (encroach on knee space), but it will do for now. Continued with the fuel level calibration. After letting out the remaining 3 gallons or so to weigh it, put these back in. Bought 6 more gallons, and filled the tank to the 5 gallon line. Then started adding back 1 calibrated gallon at a time. Got up to 9 gallons - this is the most visible in the tail-down position. Only had 4 more gallons of gas, so calibrated up to 13 gallons, tail-up. This is enough to start flight test. Put the gallon level labels on the panel. Messed up for some reason - started from the top down and ended up skipping the 9th gallon, so will need to remake those labels. Dropped off the com radio at the FBO. They will deliver it to the avionics shop on Monday for bench testing.
