Drilled spacer pieces for the RH side hinge. This will push out the cowling so there isn't a trip at the fuse side. Trimmed the prop opening. Reinstalled the cowling to check the prop opening and it is good. Decided since the cowling is in place to work on the oil dipstick access door. After messing around with a hinge, I remembered seeing that to do what I want it to do, it really needs an internal hinge with a hook arm to mount. Not a big deal, but I got tired of messing with it. So I'll make another door later, and may just go with the 2-southco attachment like the plans. Just passed 1100 hours logged.
