Got West epoxy and filler. Made up a form for the outside of the bottom of the cowling from .025 scrap coated with packing tape. Mixed up the epoxy and filler and built up the edge. Plan is to sand down the inside to about the same thickness as the surrounding material, then lay on a layer of BID to stabilize it, then trim to the needed width.
