Made the fuel fill door and its hinge. Drilled and riveted the hinge to the door. Made the oil fill/check cover. Figured out I had not made some hinge pieces. In particular the 12 1/2" ones on the bottom of the firewall - are called out on the P13 print as "2" required. 2 are required on the P13 print, but 2 more are required on whatever F print attaches 2 of them to the bottom of the firewall. Also had left out 2 more hinge pieces. So I really didn't have enough extra hinge to do a 3rd aileron. It really ends up being a little more than 1 foot left over, plus some small cut-offs. I would have come up short had I made the battery box hinged all around, but I only made the outboard side removeable. Also did a lot of clean up - vacuum the floor, put all parts away, vacuum the work table, etc. Figured out I have only 8 plans sheets left to do.
Fuel door, oil door, hinges.
Looks more real with the instrument holes and sticks.
My other car is a... no, not really. Blown Hemi in a '35. Crazy.
