Continued with taking the paint off the lower stick assembly for the 2nd stick. Started by using sandpaper again, but then tried the scotch brite wheel to see what it would do. It takes the powder coat off quickly and just puts a shine on the steel part. So I used the wheel to take off as much as I could get to with it. Much quicker.
