Brief Description:  Engine installation

Spent about 1/2 hour to trim the #1 cylinder fins. Used a dremel with cutoff wheel to trim these from the largest fin out to the smallest. Then used a few files to smooth off the fins. Spent about 1/2 hour trimming the tins some more - making the final clearancing of the between-cylinder oil supply tubes and the left side engine mount. Spent about 1/2 hour installing the between-cylinder air guides (small tins installed from below hung from saftey wire). I used a piece of hinge rod set into the cylinder fins as the hanger for these. Spent about 1/2 hour looking at the throttle handle location. The leather for tensioning the handle had dried out (here in the desert) so I shaved down the bushing maybe .010" to get it to tighten up again. Might need to take that a little further if the leather dries further. Still not set on a final handle location, but I'm leaning towards the one which I had outlined on the angle a while back. This is the highest of the possible positions, and would require relocating the canopy latch handle aft.
