Machined the deck surface of the cylinders all to be the same height relative to the block. This set a new dimension of 4.030 from the block surface to the deck, which is roughly -0.040 lower than stock.
Ran the compression ratio numbers. With the deck height the way it is, it was determined that I need a .032 base gasket and a .052 head gasket to achieve a 9.0:1 compression ratio. Gaskets have been ordered.
