Today I riveted the HS-407 rib into the skin of the left and right skins. During my first attempt, I started riveting near the front spar area and tried to work my way forward. This didn’t work well and it was difficult to get the holes to line up when clecoing the opposite side. On my second attempt, I Clecoed and riveted the first three holes on each side. This kept the skins tight around the rib yet was easy for one person to get to the shop heads. The front spar assembly was installed and Clecoed into position. The front spar and rib HS-408 was pop-riveted into position. The outboard end of the front spar was riveted to the end rib, HS-406, with AN470AD4-4s. The front spar was then riveted to the left wing skin, top and bottom. Both inner ribs were riveted into place. With the exception of riveting the rear spar in place, the left horizontal stab is complete. The right skin is ready to be installed. Good progress overall, including drilling a couple of rivets that I was not satisfied with.
