I was looking for a project that would give me a chance to hone my riveting skill prior to working on the RV. I went to the local DIY store and purchased some thin sheet aluminum. Using some rivets that were given to me by a friend, I constructed this wall mounted shop rag dispenser. Not only is it useful but it also gave me the opportunity to test my new tools that I purchased for my RV. It also gave me a feel for working with the light aluminum that comes in the kit. Worst part about the project was drilling the 3-4" hole in the bottom for the towels to come out.
I shot from the hip on this project; no plans. It's the way I roll. ;) If I had to do this over again I would consider how this basic box is going to be attached to the wall. In my case it was to a concrete block wall.
Glad I did it and recommend that other first-time builders do a project like this also.
