1. Obtained pliers and brazed #8 machine screw to jaws to create dimpling pliers. Cut bending pattern from 1/4" masonite. Beveled dege of form and drilled relief 1/4" relief holes along edge. Used rattail file to make notches in face of form from edge to holes for dimpling.
2. Cut over length blank fro top edge. Bent blank slightly along centerline. Clamped blank to form and molded to curve using the new dimpling pliers.
3. Started at the straight section of the tip and clamped piece to the form there. Began squeezing with dimpling pliers and watched as blank curved naturally to the form shape. Clamped as I formed and hammered top edge to force piece to hold the curve.
