Brief Description: remade aft side skin with new access panel
Drilled out all rivets and removed first try at port aft tail skin. Used skin as template to cut and drill replacement. fabricated opening and matching door. Fabricated backing plate for access door and cut and located hinge at F11. Dimpled all and clecoed in place. riveted at longeron and F12 with domed rivets. rivets at bottom skin flange are 5/32" countersunk rivets. countersank rivet holes in hinge and used 1/8" countersunk rivets at door hinge. Installed two #10 Tinnerman nuts and drilled door for 2 pan head #10 SMS
Shaped and added 2 cross braces for cntr bottom skin. One brace rivets through spliced flanges of cntr bottom skin. Added 3 rivets to spliced flange on
