Brief Description: Installed fuel level senders to tanks
I installed the fuel level senders by inserting the 12 M4x16 hex head screw into the mounting plate with one stainless and one fiber washer each through the mounting plate and cork gasket. I used Loctite 277 for thread sealant and then torqued the screws to 20 in-lbs. There isn't a torque spec available on the drawing (I have an emal in to TAF) so I used the lowest recommended torque. I think a full rated torque would over-compress the gasket.
Also, I apparently stripped one of the M4 inserts during rivnut installation on the left tank, so I ran a #8-32 tap through it and installed a #8-32 x 3/4" socket head cap screw at this position. It worked nicely.
