I removed the pitot tube, reconfigured the aluminum tubes for aileron pushrod clearance, cut the tubing at the top of the hose barbs and removed the hose clamps. The clamps are causing damage to the soft tubing, so I removed them from the installation. I re-installed the pitot / aoa tube and secured the tubing.
Yes, I know the aluminum pitot tubing bends don't look sexy, but let me assure you that the bends are strategic and allow the fittings to slide in and out of the pitot mast with minimum interference with the rivets.
