My my rivnut installation tool interfered with the connector so I could not use it for the circular, tail connectors. I've been workiing on this for several days befoe I found a method that worked well.
I tried the "srew & nut" method without success and many other methods that didn't work. Finally, I inserted a screw to the backside of the rivnut, placed it in a vice and installed the rivnuts with compression and red loctite. This method worked well for me.
