I made a laser platform to maount on the aft fuselage to assist in setting the fin angle. The attach brackets for the fwd fin spar were the next thing to work on. I have had concerns about the roop available for the bolts between the aft bulkhead and the bent angle for fin attachment. After you offset the fin, there is not buch room for the attach bracket fasteners. I am thinking that I will modify the design a bit here to change the flange of the attach bracket to point inboard instead fo outboard. This will give me plenty of edge distance. However, a bolt between the brackets and bulkhead would be unreachable. Therefore, I think I will rivet the bracket to the bulhead and bolt the spar to the bracket. This , by the way, is the same way the Mustang II does it. I think I will add a reinforcing strip and nutplates to the spar attacch flange to help with getting the difficult to install bolts
