Welded the rudder lower hinge fitting. Next the cable attach point bracket was fabricated and welded in place. The cable fitting needs to be welded at an angle, the plans call for 80 deg. 75 deg seemed to be a bit closer to the direction the routing wants to go, so that's what I used. To set the angle, I created a wood gauge block to hold the fitting while tack welding. Of course, all these wooden blocks and "fixtures" get destroyed during welding....so this is not durable tooling for another Nexus....(Sorry Mike)
