Located the Horizontal stabilizer tips that I made years ago and drilled them into place. Also made the litte closure pieces that close out the back of the tip. I purchased some fiberglass tips from Dick Eaves years ago and I notice that they are close to fitting my stabilizer, but not perfect. My stab appears to be just a bit different from his. I imagine there is going to be some variation in these airplanes since we are all just using tracings of some of the key features from a paper drawing rather than strict dimensions. Speaking of dimensions, there are a few anomalies on the plans when it comes to the elevator tip. Not all of the full size depictions of the elevator tip are the same length. But sorting stuff like this out is part of the "fun". In general, Dick has done an amazing job in not only building this plane, but documenting his build for us.
