Work continued on preparation of for joining the forward to aft fuselage. First the horizontal tail supports were carefully adjusted to make sure things were square. Reference lines were reproduced and verified as shown in picture 1. Next a forward cradle fixture was constructed to temporarily hold the forward fuselage before forward steel supports are added to the front that will pick-up the firewall engine mount location. The forward padded support is about 0.25 inches lower than I expect the fuselage to be when properly rigged in the firewall support.
