Brief Description: Front to aft fuselage splice tabs
Made some flanged fittings that will be used to support the sides of the bottom skins when I splice the front to aft fuselage. I should have added these flanges earlier when the forward-facing flanges were riveted. It's impossible to pick up the rivets that are between the fuselage sides and the inboard wing ribs, so I had to use the bolts as shown in image 1. The bolt location means that the flange has a bit more bending in it than it would have if I installed it with the forward-facing flange, so I used .040 thick aluminum to help. I will look at ways to reinforce the area when I mate the forward and aft fuselage. (None of this is shown in the plans or pictures) Also added the holes in the access panel for the right gear leg.
