Brief Description: Prepped and painted copilot section details
Parts between the forward and aft wing spar were primed and painted after debur and dimpling as shown in image 1. Parts were then installed and substructure components were riveting using 470AD-4 rivets as shown in image 2. Flush rivets were used to fasten the spar bulkhead joints as well as various components fastened to the skins. Finally, the balances of the remaining components were clecoed into place to ensure that riveting had not changed the fit, and to store in place while other work is pursued. Access will be required under flooring in the future as other components are installed.
