As it turns out, the radius that I formed the battery mount stiffeners to was about 0.13 because I used the press brake. This is fine for sheet .040 or less, but I really should have used something more like .22 to .25 for the .063 legs. So, I decided to rebuild much of the battery moun using a larger bend radius. A little more work, but I will sleep better at night. I also made the angle clips to attach the lower support longerons to the bulkhead.
Note, the date stamp is when I took the pictures, but the work was done on 1-22-11
