Brief Description: Sorting out Blueprint Discrepancy
Dick Eaves returned my email and stated that the upper dimension on the 82.625 bulkhead should be 87.425 instead of the 84.5 depicted in my drawings. Actually, if you work out the geometry, it should be 87.15 if the bulkhead is straight. Sounds like Dick really keyed off the 79.375 and 82.625 dimensions and let the top of the bulkhead (bottom in fixture) fall where it will. Spent some more time looking at blue prints and ramifications of variations to the build geometry. Dick has been excellent about working with me when I have questions. As far as the blue prints go, I suspect that not many people have build the Nexus, so feedback to Dick on Plan corrections has probably been sparse. If his plans are like most, the first few builders will find several issues that need to be addressed.
