Riveted hinges onto angles and discovered that one of the angles is not flat in both planes. I mean it is off by over 0.15 inches over the 8 foot length. If I am going to use this brake for all my longerons, it really needs to be much better than that. Therefore, I spent the rest of the night removing the hinge from the bad angle and will go to the supply house to try to select a better piece. ....and start all over again on the scale removal and smoothing....arrgg....I love this hobby
