Brief Description: Initial Spar Center Section Work
I'm really not working on the plane much and am just preparing for when I retire (July 2020). I would like to have the shop set up the best I can at that point, so I bought a new bending brake. Turns out living in a hangar with lots of flying friends, its a good thing to have around. Anyway, this one has a 96 inch capacity so it should not have trouble with the outboard spars.
Meanwhile, I started laying out and fitting the center section spar web. Next I drilled the attach holes. First size 40, then up to size 30.
