Brief Description: Replacment left flap upper skin forming
The upper skin for the replacement left flap was formed next. This time, much care was given to ensuring that the trailing edge bend line was straight. The bend was done initially on the sheet metal brake. Next that lower skin was created and drilled into the joggled section. The holes were then deburred and dimpled. Next, the trailing edge bend was finished in a clamshell tool. The pictures below show the fit of the aft flange on a straight board with a level holding it down.
