As mentioned in the previous entry, I am going to build another left flap in an effort to eliminate the slight bend in the trailing edge and resulting misrig of approximately 0.1 inches. Image 1 & 2 show the new spar that was bent and trimmed, along with the new hinges that were formed trimmed and welded. The new hinges were then located on the spar by trial fit on the wing assembly to get the correct height of the hinges such that the top and bottom wing skins match the flap location.
