Continued working on the left aileron. Added a dab of RTV to the trailing edge skin at the end of each pair of stiffeners to prevent future cracking. Riveted the top row of spar to skin fasteners with standard bucked rivets. This required pulling the lower skin back enough to fit my hand in between the skin and spar with a small (tungsten) bucking bar. The lower skin was closed with pull rivets. I left the skin trim slightly different (more open) than the original design in the area of the hinge and pushrod attachment. This was to allow easier inspection of the pushrod during preflight inspections. however, I don't like the look of the now rather large gap. I may do something about that in the future.
