Fuel pick-up tubes were fabricated. This was simply a task of forming some copper wire mesh in a cylinder that fits on the tubing and soldering in place. I just folded the end shut and soldered it rather than doing something fancy (and difficult)
(Update - I changed this pick-up configuration. as shown here, the pick-up would immediately feed uphill. I changed it to feed from the bottom of the tank. See updated installation on 9-3-2023)
