Started work on the flap drive torque tube installation. First the inboard hinge points were fabricated as shown in image 1 & 2. Next, the torque tube was installed so that the pivot point locations could be established. The pivot points are nested into the flap hinge point bracket, and must provide adequate clearance to the top and bottom skin contours when rotated. As a result, the location of the inboard hinge points must key from the outboard locations. Once established, the mounting holes were drilled.
