Brief Description: Replace preservative oil with mineral oil
Brent Bowman came over and inspected the airframe and engine installation. We removed the preservative oil and replaced a drain plug with a quick drain plug. The filter was removed and replaced with another filter. 12 quarts of Aeroshell 50 W mineral oil was added. After installation of the propeller and proper torquing of the propeller bolts, we rotated the propeller until we had sufficient oil pressure. The cowl was positioned in place to assure all fit together. Brent bled the brake lines and we demonstrated adequate brake pressure when the toe brakes were applied. Brent inspected the engine and airframe and so no issues with contruction techniques.
