I wanted to create a somewhat flexible pitot tube to prevent people from bending it as they walk in front of the ship. John Rahn again came to the rescue with the idea of maching the tube in two halves with barbs for high pressure hose to join them together. Since I enjoy using the metal lathe I jumped at the chance.
