An aluminum ground plane approximately 2.5 X 6 inches was cut, rolled and drilled to ensure good signal strength and to act as a backing for the antenna and protect the tailobom skin from cracking.The resistance reading between the base of the antenna and the tailboom bulkhead was 0.2 ohms.
