In preparation for fitting the insulation cleaned the outside of the tank with acetone and then used a 3M spray adhesive that was recommended by another builder. I hope this alleviates the seperation problem that has happened to many other builders.
The passenger side tank sets close to the engine exhaust. I believe once the engine is adjusted aft to tighten the drive belts this will not be a problem.
