I have chosen John Spurling's 40 mm secondary drive to replace RWI's chain drive and oil bath. Most of the installation time was spent aligning the secondary laterally and fore and aft to the main mast. In addition, shims were needed between the aft square tube and the secondary bearing mount to produce the required tension on the cog belt. John Spurling (on the right) was kind enough to check the installation personally and make any required adjustments. Clark Richter (center) is a fellow builder in St.Louis.
