Everything went by the book. Still need to fabricate and install the rear doubler for the trim fin along with the rear spacer.
There have been reports of loosening of the forward bolts holding the vertical trim fin to the tailboom. This may have occurred because proper torquing of the bolts could not be achieved without crushing the spar running through the fin. Following the lead of other builders I mixed resin and reinforcing fibers and injected this mix into the spar. I then redriled the bolt holes once it was set. This allowed proper torque values.
