Painted TOB axle assemblies. Aligned starboard wheel pant mounting plate parallel to fuselage and drilled 1/4" holes through Aerobrake and TBO torque flange. Changing brake line connection to top of flange with the idea of bleading brakes by drawing fluid from the bottom of the brake up through the system to provide a path for air bubles to be bled in the cockpit at the brake cylinder. Removed the #8 nutplates and installed #10 (MS21047-3) to match the plans.
Will likely interfere with landing standard gear fairing location, so will try alternate orientations for the Aerobrake and balance the desire to elimniate potential air pockets in the brake system.
If the high brakeline is to be the final location, the starboard wheelpant will need to be cut and the prior cutout fiberglassed over.
