Brief Description:  Wiring

Finished up the Instrument Pod connections and I think all of the connections for the main harness. I decided to use lacing instead of zip ties to hold eveything together. I think it looks better, does not cut into the wires and will last longer. The EAA has a good video that shows how to do the lacing.

The second picture shows the bundles that go into the instrument pod. They are also laced together by function.

The last photo is my latest screwup. These are the controls on the collective. The grey button is the starter switch, then a 4 way switch to control menus on the EFIS and lastly a two way toggle for increasing/decrease the speed of the governor. So what is wrong you may ask.

The buttons need to be installed in their pod first. The starter and 4 way drop through a hole and are secured by a nut on the bottom of the plate. Now I need to unsolder and cut the heat shrink away.

I was not planning on making the collective pod for a while, now it needs to be made now. Sigh, I think I will go hit golf balls.
