Brief Description:  FAA Inspection

I am posting this well after the fact, but here it is. The inspection was done by the local FSDO. As it happens the inspector was a friend who started his aviation career as an A&P at my home airport. Back in 1995 he installed new engines in my Aztec. We needed to do a long high power run to seat the rings so he, his wife and I headed to Dallas for lunch. We got stuck due to weather and flew back late that night. Over Ardmore we lost the electircal system, at night in the clouds. I flew an instrument approach into Ardmore using a handheld GPS. All turned out OK and we are still friends, obviously

The only problems

1. Bobby had installed some tie wraps to hold the tail rotor cable and the inspector like lacing better
2. His supervisor (who he brought along) found a saftey wire on the tail gearbox that he thought was not perfect.

Overall a very good day
