Kind of a slow weekend on the helicopter front. Golf is starting to compete for time.
I resprayed bedliner on the floor, side panels, pod and support. I had some tint left over from my VW Thing that I thought would be a good match, wrong. I actually had two problems wrong color and not enough tint. Went back and had some tint custom mixed and it looks great. When I got the new mix they said to use 4 oz./bottle this is almost twice what I used according to the instructions.
When I sprayed it the color looked OK. The next morning I went out to look at it and it was PINK, as shown in the pictures. Turns out the overnight rain kept it from curing. Once it cured the color came back. This stuff is a great time saver, covers a multitude of mistakes and speeds up finishing by an order of magnitude compared to a good paint job.
I completed the collective controls as shown in photo 2.
I attached the intercom pod to the headboard using nutplates.
I started on lacing the wiring. I am not planning on using any tie wraps.
