Brief Description:  Construct and Attach Instrument Pod

Been in Argentina the past week saving the local farmers crops from the evil dove. We successfully eliminated many of the pests but more trips may be required.

Back to work. Image 1 shows the instrument pod attached to the ship. As you can see I used Adel clamps to attach to the uprights. At the bottom I made two 1/2" angles with nut plates, these attach the bottom of the pod to the pedestal.

Image 2 shows "chain drilling" the opening for the com radio. I could have milled it but this really goes pretty fast for odd shapes. I am using the com radio supplied by MGL Avionics. This will allow me to control more activities from the Cyclic/Collective.

I did use the mill to open up the opening for the MGL EFIS Panel

Image 3 shows getting closer. I still have the Mag Switch and Master to install.
