Getting closer. Now you can see what it looks like. I broke down and bought a rivet squeezer after having the gun slip off and dent the metal. Turns out there were several places it would not work, like reaching over a 3/4" angle.
I am going to put angles in the pod with nut plates. The pedestal will screw in to the pod from inside the pedestal. There will be no exposed screwes except for the plate facing the rear of the ship.
I think I am going to use adel clamps to hold the pod to the two uprights.
